Here’s a great introductory tutorial for ECG interpretation. It’s done well and it is a little more lively than the others available on YouTube. Good as an introduction or as a refresher for interns, residents, medical students, EMS personnel, nurses, and nursing students.

ECG Rhythms
by Eric Morris ECG is an abbreviation for an electrocardiograph. An ECG records the heart’s electrical activity as a graph or a series of wavy lines on a moving strip of paper. It provides information on a patient’s heart rate and rhythm and blood flow. It is used to diagnose medical problems such as a heart attack or irregular heartbeats.

Heart Rhythm ECG Strip On Your iPhone?
Although not yet appropriate for use clinically, there is an iPhone app (and presumably an iPad app, judging by their website) available that detects and reports one lead from an ECG. Of course, this could revolutionize the field response of EMTs, physicians, nurses, family members, and emergency personnel.
